This poster is audience towards teenagers and above. The poster is bold and bright to give out the information that people want to know. The poster informs readers which bands will be playing at the reading festival. This changes how the poster is laid out as its more of a list, rather than a paragraph of text talking about one band. The language used is mainly just a few words. E.g for the place, they put `Leeds' rather than taking up a line just for the place of which it will be held. This text exerts power from the different boldness of text and how it is used against the back gound.

The audience of this poster is to all of the public passing by. The poster is made clear and bold so that all ages are able to understand it, even for the young. The purpose of the poster is to catch the eye of people and inform them what to do with their litter. Having the image of a man pointing towards a bin instantly gives the idea that its telling us to bin/recycle rather than dropping it on the street. The poster has its own saying/slogan "Bin it don't sling it!" which helps gets the point across on what they want people to do.


This menu is set to audience children in restaurants. This has been deigned for the children to enjoy to look at and interact with. The purpose is to make the lay out simple for children to follow, and even entertain them while at the table. It is made to inform the children which food is available for them to have at the restaurant in a simple manner. The layout of the menu is very clear for the children to understand and read. Also having the images at a large scale, the children may find it easier to choose from the images if they have struggle reading.




Audience: Mainly for people age 12+ and with the minimum height limit of 1.4m
Purpose: To persuade people to go on this ride and to inform them about how good the ride is. Telling them how thrilling the ride is and the main features of it.
Format: Webpage
Language features: This is for the people who have seen Saw and know what Saw main out line is about. They use words such as "Lurk" as it gives a scary feeling to the ride and that can also help persuade people go on the ride for the fright of it.
Technology has come into this as it shows pictures of the rides, and even some animation. Without it the people would be relying on what they are saying about the ride. With the pictures it can attract people to it even more than they are already. 
Audience of this letter would be a higher up person in the work placement. Meaning this person is an adult, and as this is talking about his job the letter is in a format of formal. The purpose of this text is to inform that this person is leaving their job in a certain dates time. The language he uses is polite and respectful. The worker talks about how he/she respects his opportunity to work where he is now.
Technology came into this as this is computer typed rather than hand written, making this more formal and a better way to make a clear point that he/she is leaving

The audience of this is all shoppers, this can be ages of 12+. This is to persuade people to reduce the amount of plastic bags that they used. They say the negatives about the plastic bags and how bad they are for the environment. The format of this is just clear and bold so that they send their point across and so that people from a large age range is able to understand this.
The persuasive technique they are using is listing the main negatives of what happens when we use plastic bags. The writer exerts power into sentences by making them sound nearly dramatic and at this scale, it gets into peoples minds that this is a thing we must change.



Audience: All ages, this can be used to get kids to persuade their parents to buy it just from the image.
Purpose: To attract the eyes of potential consumers, and entice them into consuming the product. Being the image as it is, it has the capability to get the children to persuade their parents to buy it for them.
Format: Bright and bold writing, image to catch the eye.
Language: Brand name stands out from the package.

 Audience: The audience would be aimed at all consumers of the kelloggs products. People who are looking for a new brand of breakfast to have or just looking for the healthier option.
Purpose: The purpose of this text is to persuade that this type of breakfast is healthy for you but not just that, also very nice as well.
Format: The format is lines of texts under the image of the brand so that the readers can actually see what the writer is talking about. 
Language: Even so they are  seem to be advising this to an older age to buy for their younger ones, they still put in humor for the adults to say that this is a fun food to eat, but yet also healthy for them.

Purpose: The purpose of the text is to persuade the reader into going to the resort and having a day out at their location.
Format: They have used images to help persuade the readers into going to the resort. The images are of people enjoying rides, and having fun as a family. This helps make readers image the time they would have at the resort.
Technology has come into this as it gives online advertising as well. Having it online means that more readers will start reading into it and becoming more interested of the resort.

Purpose: The purpose is to persuade parents to choose their hotel to stay in and pay money for a residential stay. The means that the text must be persuasive to a range of adults as they will need to entice them into choosing their hotel to stay at. 
Language: Language that they use ones that emphasis how good the place is. Such as they use the word "amazing" to make things sound even better than they are already sounding.





Audience: The audience that this product is aimed at is owners of their pet dog.
Purpose: The purpose of this product is to persuade owners to buy this dog food pack rather than any other dog food on the shelves. To persuade they made the packaging bright to grab the eye of the shopper then tell them about the product just by reading the front of it.
Format: Title is bold and clear to read, then sub text is information about the product to persuade the shoppers to buy this.
Language used: The text helps achieve its purpose by being big and bold for people to see, and also short so that people don't have to stand around reading the package.

Audience: This text would be aimed at all genders and ages that wanting to find more detail on what cyber bullying is. Being as its going to be viewed mainly by a lot of adults, the text would be wrote formally as this is a serious situation in the world.
Purpose: The purpose of this text is to inform readers about the case of cyber bullying and what it is. This includes explaining the ways in which it happens and how easy it could happen.
Format: The format of this is direct and straight to the point. The text gets straight to the point on what cyber bullying is.
Language: The text uses formal language as it can be seen that is the best way to make a serious point about something. The text also uses sort sentences at times to explain points at a serious manner.

This text can be seen exerting power by using sort sentences mixed with the formal tone, to create a serious point using power.

Audience: The text would be aimed at mix genders as this is a product for all recommended at ages 12+.
Interests: The interests that the audience would have for them to read into the review is of technology, or more accurately computers.
Purpose: The purpose of this text is to explain to the reader about the product they are viewing. This shows the reader the contents and how 'amazing' this computer is. The text is wrote to make the product seem the best and persuasive to buy. If the writer is wanting to persuade the reader to buy this product or share to their friends about it, the writer would have to explain every positive aspect about it making the reader believe its the best.
Images: They did use images into trying to help persuade the reader (image was unable to be copied) to become interested of it. The image was a picture of the product seeming to look futuristic and powerful.
How has technology influenced this text?: Without the technology this review wouldn't even be made. The review was made online, on a website of the store. It also has a place where people after reading this review can leave their own comment and say what they think about the review, or ask any questions for more information.

The texts uses powerful words to help entice the reader. They list out positives of LegoLand and the things that they can offer and therefore showing them the enjoyment that could be had at the park.
A word such as "spectacular" gives a strong effect as it gives out a strong image of what LegoLand is like.
